15 students were welcomed as alumni on May 3, 2017 at USC Sumter's Commencement Ceremony. Congrats, graduates!

USC Sumter held the annual Commencement ceremony on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 in the Nettes Auditorium. More than 100 students received Associate Degrees.

The University of South Carolina Sumter is excited to welcome a new class of incoming students. This class represents an accomplished, diverse group of individuals who hail from across the state, the nation and even the world. These students are now part of the Gamecock nation AND are officially Fire Ants!

Congratulations Silver Medallion Winners! To qualify for inclusion, students must have completed at least 30 hours at a University of South Carolina campus with a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.00, and have achieved a 3.5 - 3.94 grade-point average for the Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 semesters while being registered each semester for 12 or more hours on the Sumter campus, of which at least six hours must be USC Sumter courses.

USC Aiken at Sumter students Lamontreal Giles, Lauren Newman, and Lawrence Preast were inducted as lifetime members of Beta Gamma Sigma. Beta Gamma Sigma is the premier honor society recognizing business excellence. Lifetime members of the Society have earned the right to be considered the "Best in Business."

USC Sumter OSP Jump Start Students volunteered their time in August 2015 to help feed the hungry as part of a larger operation that served nearly 100,000 needy residents.
