USC Sumter Alumni Association Thanks Big Friday Participants

Sumter, SC (12/08/2022) — The University of South Carolina Sumter's Alumni Association would like to thank everyone who attended, sponsored and volunteered at the 28th Annual Big Friday Golf Tournament.

The winner of this year's golf tournament was Team Home Solutions. The foursome included Al Nelson, AJ Nelson, Richard Cook and Matthew Zeigler. Other winners included 2nd place - Team FTC, Kevin Robinson, Chad Davis, Jimmy Byrd, and Aaron Williams; 3rd Place - Team Molina, Jerry Molina, Robert Patterson, Scott Keisling, and Matt Sexton; Closest to the Pin - Terry Hicks, Hunter Webb, Julian Duran, and Josh Morrell; Men's Longest Drive - Wayne Piko; and Women's Longest Drive - Shannon Hammond.

The USC Sumter Alumni Association would also like to thank all of those who sponsored the golf tournament including Thompson Turner Construction, Arby's, FTC, McLeod Health Clarendon, Jones Buick GMC, Jones Chevrolet Cadillac, SAFE Federal Credit Union, Black River Electric Cooperative, The Citizens Bank, Re/Max Summit, Simpson Ace Hardware, Julie & David Ardis, Chick-fil-A, Coca-Cola Bottling Company Consolidated, First Citizens Bank, Hatfield Heating & Air, Jonathan & Jennifer Houston, JF Contractors, Piggly Wiggly, Starbucks, and The Yahnis Company.


All proceeds help support student scholarships at USC Sumter. Together with the USC Sumter Alumni Association, we can ensure continued growth, excellence and progress to increase the university's ability to award scholarships and fulfill their goal of lessening the financial burden on students.
