Sumter, SC (05/20/2024) — The University of South Carolina Sumter is proud to announce the addition of six new teams across three sports: Men's and Women's teams for Cross Country, Half Marathon, and Track and Field. These are in addition to their nine successful NJCAA Region 10 Division I Intercollegiate Athletics programs. The new programs are currently recruiting and plan to begin their season in the Fall of 2024.
"The addition of Cross Country and Track and Field to USC Sumter's roster of NJCAA sports is a significant step forward. The USC Sumter Athletic Department has not officially announced a coach for the programs, but prospective players are encouraged to complete an interest form at uscfireants.com.
