USC Sumter Hosting Memorial Day Program
Sumter, SC (05/14/2021) — The Student Veteran Organization at the University of South Carolina Sumter will host a Memorial Day Program on Thursday, May 27 at 12 pm on the campus of USC Sumter (200 Miller Rd.).
As part of the program, there will be a dedication of Memorial Day Tribute Crosses. The Student Veteran Organization will be pre-selling the crosses for $6 each. Each cross may be personalized with the name of a fallen military member. The crosses will be displayed on the lawn of the USC Sumter campus May 17 - 31. Crosses may be picked up after the Memorial Day Program or for an additional $4, the crosses can be mailed.
Proceeds collected will be donated to the USC Sumter Veterans Scholarship Fund.
