USC Sumter Adds Women's Volleyball
Sumter, SC (07/01/2020) — The University of South Carolina Sumter is proud to announce the addition of women's volleyball to their eight successful NJCAA Region 10 Division I Intercollegiate Athletics programs. The new program is currently recruiting and plan to begin their season in the Fall of 2021.
"Volleyball is an in-demand sport, especially in Sumter. We are thrilled to be starting volleyball as a collegiate NJCAA sport at USC Sumter," said USC Sumter Director of Athletics Adrienne Cataldo.
The USC Sumter Athletic Department is currently searching for a coach to lead their new volleyball team. If you are interested in the coaching position, please email Adrienne Cataldo at cataldo@email.sc.edu. Prospective players are encouraged to complete an interest form at uscfireants.com.
USC Sumter has a total of nine sports in their athletics program including baseball, softball, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's golf, men's and women's soccer, and volleyball.
