USC Sumter Hosts Community Halloween Carnival

Sumter, SC (10/22/2019) — The Student Life department at University of South Carolina Sumter, will be hosting a Halloween Carnival and Haunted House on Friday, October 25, 2019. This annual event is open to the public and was created to offer the children of the Sumter community a safe place to celebrate Halloween.

This year's Carnival is free to attend and will be open 6 - 9 pm. The haunted house is 5$ per person and will be frightening guests 7-11 pm. Both events will be located in the Nettles building on the USC Campus (200 Miller Rd., Sumter). The public may access the Nettles parking lot off of University Drive.

Several businesses in the community have donated candy to make the evening especially sweet. They include Advance Doors, All Gussied Up, Carolina Children's Dentistry, Eggs Up Grill, Epps Orthodontics, Evergreen Cemetery and Hillside Memorial Park, Gateway Mortgage, J&J Flooring, Josh Griffin - Farm Bureau Insurance, Safe Guard Termite and Pest Control and Wilkes Builders.
